Happy Birthday to our Music Director/Conductor, Italian composer Salvatore Di Vittorio, born in Palermo, Italy on October 22, 1967.
We honor his tireless leadership of the Chamber Orchestra of New York, and his achievements as a composer following commissions from the Respighi family archive and leading orchestras in Italy.
Here is his latest symphony, Sinfonia No. 3 "Templi di Sicilia", world premiered under his baton with Palermo Philharmonic's Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana on November 2012 at the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi of Palermo:

The concert features our guest artists as the Winners of the first annual Respighi Prize competition: Brazilian pianist Victor Cayres de Mendonca (Soloist) and American composer Ezra Donner (Composition).
